We observed from our planting that for elephant beans cotyledones are kept under the ground while for other beans are like the drawings...you can see that in slide "Transplanting beans from tins to pot"
meaning that for elephants root hair begin to grow under cotyledones immediately while for other bean seeds initial cotyledones are in the middle of the growing stem
